Abdalla Elmahdi

Abdalla Elmahdi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Abdalla started their career in 2000 at ArabNet Technology, where they served as a Project Manager. During their time there, they successfully developed a popular website with unique browsing features and managed key projects to develop web-based applications and internet services.

In 2001, Abdalla joined HH Saudi Research & Marketing as an IT Manager, where they stayed until 2010. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's information technology systems.

In 2010, Abdalla decided to become a contractor and established their own business. As a contracting developer and project manager, they took on various projects until 2012.

In 2012, Abdalla joined Monster as a Senior Engineering System Administrator (DevOps). Abdalla was responsible for managing and leading biweekly Agile and quarterly main releases, with full ownership of the software development life cycle. Abdalla worked on tasks such as development, building, testing, merging, and deployment.

Currently, Abdalla Elmahdi holds the position of Principal Engineering Systems Administrator/DevOps at Monster, starting in October 2020.

Abdalla Elmahdi obtained a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Westminster between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science degree in Computer System Engineering at the Engineering Academy from 1989 to 1993. Abdalla also holds a certification in Prince 2 Foundation from APMG-International, obtained in 2011.
