Kim Sun

Kim Sun has had a diverse and impressive career in the finance industry. Starting in 1994, they worked as the Corporate Controller for The Sutton Place Hotels for over a decade. In 2005, they transitioned to The Irvine Company, where they served as a Controller for two years. Kim then joined Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in 2007, starting as a Director of Finance before being promoted to Regional Director of Finance and eventually becoming the Corporate Director of Finance. In 2015, Kim moved to Montage International, where they continued their upward trajectory, starting as the Corporate Director of Finance and steadily moving up the ranks to become the Vice President and later the Senior Vice President of Operations Finance. Their most recent role, which they currently hold, began in June 2021. Overall, Kim Sun possesses an extensive background in finance, with a strong focus on operations and leadership.

Kim Sun earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from McMaster University, which was completed from 1985 to 1988. Additionally, Kim has obtained certifications such as HFTP USALI Theory Certificate, Business Analytics Certificate from Cornell University, Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA) from AHLEI, and Certified Management Accountant from CMA.
