Warren McQuinn

Warren McQuinn has a long and varied professional history. In 2010, they began their career as an Intern at Trilogy Interactive, where they worked with political groups to draft, refine, and implement competitive digital strategies. Warren then moved on to BuzzMaker in 2011, where they were a Junior Strategy Associate and managed campaigns for international clients. In 2012, Warren became the Director of Academic Technology at the Associated Students of the University of California, where they oversaw budgeting, planning, and development of full-stack applications related to on-campus academic groups. That same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at UC Berkeley, where they were trained as an EEG technician. In 2013, they began working at ICSI - International Computer Science Institute as a Linguistic Annotator, employed by the AI Group under Collin Baker. Warren then co-founded Montage in 2016, where they created a product to rally friends to create a collaborative video surprise for someone they love. In 2016, they also co-founded VRecover, where they oversaw development on VR platforms including Microsoft HoloLens, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive. Finally, in 2019, Warren began working at DAT Bootcamp as a Senior Software Engineer, where they managed iOS & Android platform development and launch, and then was brought on full-time to work on full-stack development across all client platforms. Warren is currently leading a major transition from WP to AWS platform technologies, including AWS Amplify, AppSync, Lambda, DynamoDB, & CloudFront / S3.

Warren McQuinn attended Moorpark College from 2007 to 2009 and then went on to attain a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science and Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2014.
