Nicholas Rustigian

Nicholas 'Rusty' Rustigian grew up in New England, but got an itch for the mountains that dictated life decisions beyond college. After graduating from the University of Vermont, he moved to Seattle where he worked with the nonprofit arm of the Northwest Avalanche Center—managing the membership program, outreach, events and all the other random tasks that come with working with a staff of three. He was the person who understood how to use their Salesforce database which led him down a path of working with Salesforce for nonprofits as a staff member and consultant until he landed at MCC in 2019. His passion for this work doesn't come from technology, but helping the organization build capacity and efficiency—finding small ways to move the needle that have a big impact. Rusty enjoys cooking, live music, being outdoors and most forms of recreation.
