Layton McCafferty

Layton McCafferty is an accomplished computer science professional with a strong academic background and a variety of practical experiences. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Montana State University-Bozeman since August 2024, McCafferty supports educational initiatives while pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science. Previous roles include Software Engineer Intern at TechLink and Undergraduate Student Researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where McCafferty gained valuable technical skills. In addition, McCafferty served as a Snapology Instructor, leading educational classes focused on STEAM concepts for children. McCafferty holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Montana State University-Bozeman and an Associate of Arts in Computer Science from Flathead Valley Community College.
