Stephen Zukin

Stephen Zukin currently serves as Medical Director at PRA Health Sciences and Supervising Psychiatrist at Montgomery County Emergency Service, both roles held since 2016. Zukin has a longstanding academic affiliation as Visiting Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Clinical Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with extensive contributions to research in psychiatry, neuroscience, and substance abuse. Previous leadership roles include Senior Director at Forest Research Institute and AstraZeneca, where Zukin directed clinical development projects and translational medicine initiatives. Stephen Zukin's early career included significant positions at The National Institute on Drug Abuse, where as Associate Director, Zukin led major clinical research efforts on drug abuse disorders. Zukin holds an M.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a B.A. in Music from Haverford College.
