Brenda Shannon

Brenda Shannon is a seasoned clinical dietitian with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently serving at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital + Clinics since June 2022, Brenda has also held positions at the State of Iowa from November 2004 to June 2022 and Creighton University Medical Center from September 2000 to October 2004, specializing in areas such as ICU, NICU, PICU, CCU, Med-Surg, Diabetes, Rehab, Labor and Delivery, and Women's Health. Brenda began the career as a registered dietitian at Women, Infants and Children WIC in early 2000. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and completion of a dietetic internship from Iowa State University.
