Pekka Tormala

Pekka Tormala is an experienced industry advisor and executive with a diverse background in sales, marketing, and business development. Currently serving as an Industry Advisor at Monthio since August 2023, Tormala has also held key roles at Aiwo Digital as both Sales and Growth and Executive Advisor since January 2021, and as a Board Member at Vuono Group since August 2021. Previously, Tormala contributed as an Executive Advisor at Columbia Road from September 2019 to December 2022, and as CEO of The Equestrian Federation of Finland from 2018 to 2019. A significant part of Tormala's career was spent at Sampo Bank and Danske Bank, where leadership spanned various marketing and business development positions from 2001 to 2018. Tormala's earlier experience includes roles such as Vice President of Business Development at Radisson Sas Hotels and Resorts HQ, Head of Marketing at Sokos Hotels, and Buying and Merchandising Director at CitySokos Department Stores. Tormala's educational background includes a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Jyväskylä, earned between 1980 and 1984.
