Lauren Johnson

Lauren Johnson is the Senior Director, Global Partnership Strategy & Development at Monumental Sports & Entertainment. Lauren has been with the company since 2013 and in their current role for just over a year. Prior to that, they served as the Strategic Partnerships Associate.

Johnson began their career in the sports industry as an intern with the Washington Redskins in their ticket office. Lauren then interned with Monumental Sports & Entertainment in their executive suites and corporate partnerships departments before being hired on full-time in the strategic partnerships role.

In their current role, Johnson is responsible for developing and executing global partnership strategies for Monumental’s portfolio of teams and venues, which includes the NBA’s Washington Wizards, NHL’s Washington Capitals, WNBA’s Washington Mystics, NBA G League’s Capital City Go-Go, AFL’s Baltimore Brigade and Capital One Arena.

Lauren Johnson has a Masters in Professional Studies from Georgetown University in the field of Sports Industry Management. Lauren also has a Bachelor of Science from the University of South Carolina in Sport and Entertainment Management. Lauren attended The Madeira School for their high school education.
