James Davies

James Davies is the current CFO at Monzo. Prior to this, they held the position of Group CFO at Domestic & General from August 2020 to September 2021. James was also the Group CFO at Purplebricks Group PLC from April 2017 to August 2020. From April 2015 to March 2017, they were the CFO - William Hill Online. James has also worked as the Global Finance Director, Kingfisher Sourcing & Offer Division at Kingfisher plc from January 2014 to April 2015 and as the Head of Strategic Finance at UBM plc from January 2011 to December 2014. Prior to that, they worked as the Director, UK M&A at Deutsche Bank from January 2006 to December 2011 and as an Assistant Director at Close Brothers Corporate Finance from January 1998 to December 2006. James Davies started their career as an Audit Manager at Deloitte from January 1995 to December 1998.

James Davies has a BSc in Accounting & Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick. James also went to Chepstow School.
