Tanguy de Lavalette has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tanguy started their career at Lagardère Publicité as a Sales Associate in 2002 and worked there until 2004. Tanguy then joined ScreenTonic/Microsoft as an Ad Sales Manager, where they played a pioneering role in mobile advertising and was responsible for media sales for Orange mobile content portal. In 2007, the company was acquired by Microsoft.

In 2007, Tanguy joined Gameloft as a Business Development Manager and later became the Region Manager Nordics/Senior Global Account Manager. Tanguy worked for Gameloft until 2014. Following that, Tanguy joined Endomondo/Under Armour as a Partner Account Manager from 2014 to 2017.

In 2017, Tanguy worked as a Consultant under the self-employed status, providing services to clients. Tanguy then joined Trustpilot as a Partnership Manager for a brief period from April 2018 to June 2018.

Since June 2018, Tanguy has been associated with Moodagent. Tanguy initially served as the Director of Channel and Strategic Partnerships, where they led the launch of a new music streaming service and established strategic partnerships with mobile operators, consumer electronics brands, and commercial brands. Later, they took on the role of Director of Global Acquisition and Retention, and recently, in February 2022, they assumed the position of VP Marketing and Partnerships.

Tanguy de Lavalette obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business/Trade/Commerce from ESSCA Business School between 1996 and 2000. Tanguy also studied International Business at Swansea University for one year in 1999-2000.
