Alba Moix Vallès

Alba Moix Vallès has a diverse range of work experience. In 2019, they worked as a customer service representative at Barcelona de Serveis Municipals, S.A. In 2020, they had two roles; first, they participated in the translation and editing of the novel "El Paraíso de las Mujeres" at Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Barcelona, and later, they did linguistic technical work as an intern at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC). In 2021, they worked as an English teacher at Actividades Formativas, and also as an internal coordinator at the same educational center. Alba also had a role as an editor intern for the journal "Àgora" at Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Barcelona. In 2022, they worked at Moodle as a project coordinator. Currently, they are doing a linguistic advisory and correction internship at Catalunya Ràdio.

Alba Moix Vallès has a diverse educational background in linguistics and humanities. In 2015, they completed their Bachillerato Humanístico degree at Institut Martí l'Humà. Following that, from 2017 to 2021, they pursued a degree in Applied Languages at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, specializing in Applied Linguistics. During their studies, they also attended the University of Leeds in 2018 and 2019 as part of an exchange program, where they focused on Modern Languages and Linguistics.

In 2022 and 2023, Alba Moix Vallès pursued a Postgraduate degree in Linguistic Counseling and Editing at Universitat de Barcelona. This program allowed their to further enrich their knowledge in linguistics.

Alba Moix Vallès has obtained several certifications to support their language abilities. Alba obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Catalan with a high-level (C2) designation from Generalitat de Catalunya in June 2021. In addition, they earned a First Certificate in English (FCE) from the University of Cambridge in May 2016. Lastly, they hold an EF SET English Certificate with a proficiency level of C2.
