Carles Aguiló-Collado

Carles Aguiló-Collado has a diverse range of work experience. Carles is currently working as a Technology Partner Manager at Moodle since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Sales at LEAP Global Educational Consultants from September 2021 to January 2022. Before that, Carles held multiple roles at Xpublisher Group and Xpublisher Inc., including Managing Director and Head of Sales & Marketing from August 2020 to March 2021.

From November 2018 to February 2020, they worked at WIRIS as the Chief Sales Officer & Chief Marketing Officer. Carles also served as VP of Sales & Marketing from January 2016 to October 2018 and as an International Sales & Marketing Executive from March 2007 to December 2015 at the same company.

Carles began their career at SDP Ibérica as a Pre-sales & support consultant from March 2004 to February 2007. Carles also worked as a Software Developer at Better Consultants from September 2003 to February 2004.

Additionally, Carles took a sabbatical year from September 2002 to August 2003. Carles started their professional journey as a SIM applications engineer at Schlumberger Systèmes from February 2001 to September 2002.

Carles Aguiló-Collado has a diverse education history across various institutions. In 1996 to 2000, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Following this, from 1999 to 2000, they were an Erasmus student at The University of Sheffield, studying Mathematics. Continuing their academic journey, Carles Aguiló-Collado enrolled at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from 2007 to 2010. In 2008 to 2009, they expanded their horizons as an Erasmus student at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, focusing on Humanities/Humanistic Studies. Moving forward, they attended the EADA Business School in 2017 and 2018, completing an Executive Programme in Sales Management. To enhance their professional skills, they pursued a Product Owner certification in Lean & Agile from Scalabl in 2022 and 2023. Lastly, starting in 2022, Carles Aguiló-Collado is expected to earn a Master's degree in Inter-University Master's Degree in Educational Technology: E-Learning and Knowledge Management from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, concluding in 2024.
