Nathan Medina

Nathan Medina, GPC, has a diverse range of work experience in the non-profit sector. Nathan is currently the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Moody Bible Institute, where they connect with corporate and foundation supporters to secure funding for the organization's initiatives. Prior to this, Nathan held the role of Director of Foundation Relations at Lydia Home Association, where they successfully secured and managed grants from various sources. Nathan also has a strong involvement with the Grant Professionals Association, serving as a National Board Member and holding various leadership positions, including President. Additionally, Nathan has experience as President and Vice President of the GPA Chicago Area Chapter. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Vice President of Residential Services at Alternative Behavior Treatment Centers, where they supervised the residential program and managed a significant budget. Throughout their career, Nathan has demonstrated a strong ability to secure funding and provide leadership in the non-profit sector.

Nathan Medina attended DePaul University from 1999 to 2003, where they pursued a Master's degree in Public Services Management with a focus in Nonprofit Administration. Prior to that, they studied at Trinity International University from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry. In 2014, Nathan obtained a certification known as GPC (Grant Professionals Certification) from the Grant Professionals Certification Institute.
