Heather Lopez is the Laboratory Manager, Executive Vice President, and Co-Owner at Moody Labs since August 2013. Prior to this, Heather worked as a Senior Analyst at Steve Moody Micro Services from January 1999 to September 2013. Heather is a fully trained PLM and microbiological analyst with experience in administering proficiency testing, managing quality control, supervising analysts, and teaching technical background to new hires. Heather specializes in detecting asbestos in bulk samples, sample preparation for TEM and SEM, culture fungi and bacteria specimens, and analyzing nonviable fungal air samples. Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Biology/Biological Sciences, Environmental, and Genetics from the University of North Texas.
