Ng Eddie is an experienced professional in community psychology and research, currently serving as a Strategic Research Officer at Moonee Valley City Council since June 2022, where evidence-based advice is provided regarding community needs to support the MV2040 Strategy. Alongside this role, Ng holds the position of Honorary Fellow at the Melbourne School of Theology, supervising research students and delivering teaching as needed. Previously, Ng worked as a researcher at The GEO Group Australia, focusing on offender rehabilitation, and held various academic roles at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Hong Kong, specializing in community psychology and the impact of religious faith on well-being. Ng has also contributed to several community-based initiatives and research projects throughout a diverse professional journey that includes educational roles and significant research contributions. Ng's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Community Psychology from Victoria University, along with master’s degrees in Community Psychology and Religious Studies, and a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from The University of Hong Kong.
