Andrei Savu

Andrei Savu has held various roles in the tech industry since 2010. In 2010, they were a Whirr Committer & PMC Member at The Apache Software Foundation. In 2011, they were a Software Engineer at Cloudsoft. In 2012, they were a Co-Founder & Organizer at Bucharest Java User Group, a Founder at Axemblr Software Solutions, and a Committer at jclouds.org. In 2013, they were a Software Engineer at Cloudera, where they developed the initial version of Cloudera Director. In 2017, they were a Staff Software Engineer at Twitter, where they co-designed and implemented a multi-petabyte interactive data analytics platform called MoPub Analytics. In 2019, they were a Principal at Sweat Equity Ventures, where they acted as the acting CTO for multiple early-stage companies. In 2021, they became Co-Founder & CEO of Moonsense, where they help online businesses detect the most sophisticated fraud schemes. In 2022, they joined Pavilion as an Executive Member.

Andrei Savu attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Automatic Control in 2010 and an M.Sc. in Integrated Information Systems in 2012.
