Public Division Manager at Moore Landscapes

Jim Pearson has a solid work experience in the landscaping industry. Jim started their career at Langner and Associates in 1991 as a Superintendent and worked there until 1996. Jim then joined The Brickman Group as a Superintendent/Project Director from 1996 to 2003, where they developed and maintained client relationships and coordinated enhancements. After that, they joined TruGreen LandCare as an Account Manager from 2003 to 2006, where they managed production and served as a primary client contact. Currently, they are working at Moore Landscapes, Inc. since 2006 as a Public Division Manager. In their current role, they oversee the management of Chicago's exterior landscape grounds and contributes to the design of seasonal floral displays for various public parks.

Jim Pearson attended multiple institutions for their education. From 1986 to 1989, they studied Entomology at The University of Georgia. In 1989, they briefly attended Joliet Junior College, but did not obtain a degree. Jim then transferred to the University of Illinois System, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from 1990 to 1991. After completing their education, Jim Pearson obtained certifications such as the Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) from the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association in 2014 and became a Licensed Commercial Pesticide Applicator from the State of Illinois in 1991.
