Pat Marrujo

Pat Marrujo has extensive work experience in the recruiting and talent acquisition field. They started their career as an Intern/College Football Featured Columnist at Bleacher Report in 2011, where they produced articles on various sports topics. They then worked as a Web Content Intern at ArizonaSports.com/Bonneville International in 2012, contributing to budget meetings and developing relationships with sources. In 2012, they also took on the role of a Sports and Entertainment Writer at College Times, where they managed their schedule and built relationships with sources and public relations representatives.

In 2014, Pat joined Yelp as an Account Executive, making cold calls and setting appointments with small businesses to discuss advertising programs. They then transitioned to Aerotek, where they held multiple roles, including Professional Services Recruiter and Account/Recruiting Manager. In these roles, they managed the entire recruitment process, built and maintained relationships with clients, and acted as a staffing consultant.

From 2018 to 2019, Pat worked at Santander Consumer USA as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, overseeing recruiting operations for a site of over 850 employees. They actively sourced, interviewed, and evaluated candidates, organized hiring events, and provided strategic staffing advice to internal business managers.

In 2019, Pat joined SmartRent as a Recruiting Manager, responsible for managing all recruiting operations and leading a talent acquisition team. They also created policies and strategies for the company's talent acquisition department.

In 2022, Pat moved to Matic, where they served as the Director of Talent Acquisition. In this role, they managed recruiting operations across three corporate offices, acted as a thought leader for staffing, workforce planning, and retention, and maintained the department budget.

Most recently, Pat is the Director of Recruiting at Moov Technologies Inc., a role they took on in 2023.

Pat Marrujo earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Arizona State University. They attended the university from 2009 to 2013.
