Dan Connell

AVP, Regional Education & Outreach at Morehead State University

Dan Connell has been working in the field of education for over 15 years. Dan began their career as an associate provost at Morehead State University, where they provided leadership for regional campuses, distance learning, and college access programs. After four years in this role, they were promoted to the position of AVP of Regional Education & Outreach. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all regional campuses and distance learning initiatives. Dan has also been instrumental in developing and implementing several academic support programs.

Dan Connell has a Doctor of Education from the University of Kentucky, a Master of Arts from Ball State University, and a Bachelor of Education from Ball State University.

They work with Charles E. Gancio - Executive Director for Auxiliary Services, Russell F. Mast - VP for Student Affairs, and Kim Oatman - AVP Facilities Operations. Dan Connell reports to Joseph A. Morgan, President.
