David Hefner

David Hefner is the current vice president of strategy and institutional effectiveness at Morehouse School of Medicine. Prior to this, they were the associate vice president for marketing and communications at Tuskegee University from January 2006 to December 2008. From January 2003 to December 2006, Hefner was the publications manager at Meharry Medical College. David has also held positions at Mercer University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education.

David Hefner has a Doctor of Education from The University of Alabama in Higher Education Administration. David also has a Master's from University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Mass Communications. Finally, they have a degree from Morehouse College.
