Taya Jackson Scott

Taya Jackson Scott is the Chief Innovation Officer at Morehouse School of Medicine. Taya has worked at Morehouse School of Medicine for over 15 years in various roles. Taya served as the Interim VP of Marketing and Communications from July 2019 to January 2020 and as the Chief Administrative Officer & Chief of Staff from November 2016 to January 2020. In their role as Chief Administrative Officer & Chief of Staff, they were responsible for managing the strategic agenda of the President/CEO and Dean, collaborating with the Leadership Council, and leading executive searches and faculty compensation and succession planning. Taya also played a leadership role with full responsibility for Title III Administration, Innovation-Impact-Legacy (I-I-L) initiatives, forecasting and analytical activities.

Taya Jackson Scott earned their Doctor of Education in Leadership and Professional Practice from Trevecca Nazarene University. Taya also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Tennessee State University. Additionally, Taya is certified in SPSS Statistics from Lynda.com.
