Walter Conwell

Walter Conwell is the current Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at Morehouse School of Medicine. Prior to this, they worked as a Physician at Southern California Permanente Medical Group Physician Careers from September 2019 to July 2021. Walter also worked as the Associate Dean for Equity Inclusion and Diversity at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine from June 2018 to July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Physician at Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG) from July 2016 to September 2019. Before that, they were a Sleep Medicine Fellow at National Jewish Health from July 2015 to June 2016.

Walter Conwell has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado Denver, a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology/Pre Medicine from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
