Zsolt Szekeres

Zsolt Szekeres, PhD, FRM, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and quantitative analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science, HR at Morgan Stanley, Zsolt leads a team focused on machine learning models, predictive analytics, and knowledge management, while also holding a position as Executive Director in Internal Audit. Previously, Zsolt held various leadership roles at MSCI Inc., where responsibilities included managing model validation teams and supporting clients in model validation efforts. Zsolt began a career at Morgan Stanley in 2006, contributing to the design of pricing models for the secondary mortgage market. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Theoretical Chemistry and an MSc in Chemistry from Eötvös Loránd University, along with research experience at notable institutions. Zsolt has also passed CFA exam level 1.
