Elizabeth (Lizzie) Maly is an aspiring biomedical engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2025. Lizzie serves as a Peripheral Interventions Research and Development Intern at Boston Scientific and works as a Student Assistant for the BME201 course. In addition, Lizzie is a Project Manager with Engineers Without Borders USA, focusing on a water filtration system for communities in Nicaragua, and has held a leadership role as Special Operations Subgroup Lead. Experience includes research at the Morgridge Institute for Research and an internship in Supplier Quality Engineering at Plexus Corp. Previous roles also encompass providing exceptional customer service as a Camp Concierge and nurturing responsibilities as a nanny.
