Sophie Durn serves as the Co-Director for Camp Kesem at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where leadership includes overseeing an executive board of over 20 members and managing more than 200 university student counselors while participating in the administration of camp activities. Previously, as the Outreach Coordinator for Kesem at UW-Madison, Sophie successfully recruited over 250 campers affected by a parent's cancer through community engagement across Wisconsin. Additionally, Sophie is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Morgridge Institute for Research, contributing to biochemistry research on Myeloid Leukemia cells. Previous roles include working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Vasona Creek Healthcare Center, providing rehabilitative care, and serving as a Lifeguard and Day Camp Counselor at Lahontan Golf Club. Sophie is pursuing a degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Certified Nursing Assistant credential from the Golden Heart School of Nursing.
