Stefan Berner

Stefan Berner has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Stefan is currently working at Morpheus Data as a Channel Sales Engineer, where they specialize in hybrid-cloud management platforms. Prior to this, Stefan worked at VMware in various roles. Stefan was a Lead Solutions Architect Applications Modernization - Cloud Providers from May 2021 to August 2022, a Lead Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud Providers from November 2020 to May 2021, and a vCloud Air Network, Cloud Architect from July 2017 to November 2020. Before joining VMware, Stefan worked at VCE as a Sr vArchitect from July 2015 to June 2017. Stefan also gained experience at Hewlett-Packard as a Datacenter Architect from January 2015 to June 2015. Stefan's earlier experience includes working at Bechtle as an IT Architect Cloud Computing (later becoming team leader for Cloud Computing) from April 2012 to December 2014, and as a System Engineer from July 2010 to March 2012. Stefan started their career at Leibniz-Rechenzentrum, where they were responsible for VMware infrastructure from January 2009 to June 2010 and worked in Grid-Computing from February 2007 to December 2008.

Stefan Berner pursued their education at Leibniz Universität Hannover from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Physik. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications including LFS458: Kubernetes Administration from The Linux Foundation in May 2019, VMware Specialist - Cloud Provider 2019 from VMware in January 2019, VMware vSphere 6.5 Foundations from VMware in June 2018, and VMware Certified Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in July 2018.
