Willa Zhou

Willa Zhou has extensive experience in the field of translational sciences and medicine. Willa is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Morphic Therapeutic since October 2021, where they are leading studies and developing translational strategies for fibrosis disease indications. Prior to this, Willa worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Principal Scientist from January 2019 to October 2021, focusing on prognostic biomarker discovery and assay development for solid tumor translational development. Willa also has experience at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where they worked as a Scientist I and Principal Research Technician, conducting various research projects related to cancer. Additionally, Willa has worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Tufts Medical Center and Tufts University, specializing in infectious diseases and biomedical engineering research. Willa started their career as a Research Technician at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, focusing on computational biological projects. Willa's expertise lies in biomarker discovery, translational research, assay development, and gene delivery.

Willa Zhou holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, having completed their studies from 2006 to 2010. Willa later attained a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University, which they pursued from 2011 to 2013.
