Andrea Bayer

Andrea Bayer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Andrea is currently working at MorphoSys as the Director Global Medical Affairs Strategy & Operational Excellence, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director, Medical Affairs Strategy & Operations and Assoc. Director Global Medical Affairs Strategy and Operational Excellence at the same company.

Before joining MorphoSys, Andrea worked at The Pharma Academy as a specialist in Omnichannel Marketing and Medical Affairs Strategy, Project Management, and Operations. Andrea also has experience as a Marketing Manager at Gambio GmbH and took a maternity leave/moved from Brazil to Germany while working at NO Comp.

Their earlier experiences include working as a Business Director in São Paulo at Dio Marketing and holding various positions at GlaxoSmithKline, including PMO GSK Brazil/LatAm on EMAP Budget Control & HCP Tracking Project, Head of Medical Affairs/Marketing Operations, and Marketing Events Coordinator. Additionally, Andrea worked as an Incentive Marketing and Project Manager at Norway Consultoria.

Throughout their career, Andrea has demonstrated expertise in medical affairs strategy and operations, project management, marketing, and event coordination.

Andrea Bayer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Finance, with a double major, from DePaul University between 1993 and 1998. Andrea then attended Colégio Santo Agostinho from 1980 to 1991, where they completed their Pre to High school education and received a High School/Secondary Diploma. In 2018, Andrea enrolled in the University of the People and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Business/Commerce. Andrea successfully completed their MBA in 2020. Additionally, in the same year, they acquired an Online Marketing Manager Certificate from the Social Media Akademie, focusing on Online Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Marketing.
