Florian Förster

Florian Förster has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in various roles and companies. Florian started their career as a Pharmazeut im Praktikum at Rosen Apotheke Amberg in 2009 and then moved on to Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany as a Pharmazeut im Praktikum in 2010. In 2011, they joined LMU - Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München as a PhD student in pharmaceutical Biology, where they focused on preclinical testing of natural compounds and their antitumor properties, as well as pharmacological studies of actin binding compounds. Florian completed their PhD in 2014 and continued as a Postdoc at LMU until 2016. During this time, they also worked at Coriolis Pharma as a GMP Scientist from 2016 to 2018. Florian then joined MorphoSys in 2018 as a Senior Manager QC & Analytics and later became the Teamlead QC Operations in May 2021.

Florian Förster completed their education at the University of Regensburg from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their Staatsexamen / Approbation als Apotheker degree in the field of Pharmazie.
