Florian Wessel

Florian Wessel has a diverse work experience in the scientific research field. Florian began their career as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Max-Planck Institute for molecular Biomedicine in 2013, where they worked until 2015. Florian then joined the University of Münster as a Postdoctoral Scientist from 2016 to 2017. In 2016, they also started working as a Research Scientist at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, where they remained until 2018. Currently, Florian is employed at MorphoSys as a Translational Scientist since 2019 and has recently taken on the role of Senior Data Scientist in 2022.

Florian Wessel's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Biosciences from the University of Münster, which they obtained from 2003 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine at the same university from 2006 to 2008. Lastly, Florian completed their PhD in Cell Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine from 2008 to 2013.
