Michelle Yegres has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Michelle is currently working at MorphoSys as an Associate Director - CMC Technical Project Leader, a role they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Pieris Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager, Technical Project Manager from November 2020. Before joining Pieris Pharmaceuticals, Michelle worked as a CMC Project Manager and CMC Analytical Expert at Pieris Pharmaceuticals from July 2018 to November 2020.

Earlier in their career, Michelle worked at Roche as a Post-Doctoral Researcher from March 2014 to February 2016. In this role, they focused on the technical development of MS and affinity chromatography methods for the study of Galectins and the development of high-throughput methods for the analysis of post-translational modifications of therapeutic antibodies using LC-MS and GC-MS.

Michelle's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry (Chemical Biology) from the Université de Strasbourg. During their PhD, they applied spectroscopic techniques to analyze protein-protein and metal-protein interactions.

Before pursuing their PhD, Michelle worked at Nestlé Professional as a Microbiology Analyst from October 2009 to October 2010, where they were responsible for microbiological and physical-chemical analysis of foods and beverages.

Prior to that, Michelle worked as a Teaching Assistant for Genetics at Universidad de Carabobo from September 2006 to July 2008. Michelle also had an internship at Instituto Venezolano de Investigaciones Científicas (IVIC) in the Laboratory of Cellular Neuropharmacology from June 2007 to December 2007, where they gained experience in the purification and characterization of scorpion toxins, purification of immunoglobulins, and histology of cerebral and lung tissue.

Michelle Yegres has a diverse and extensive education history. Michelle first attended the Universidad de Carabobo from 2004 to 2009, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General. Michelle then pursued a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the same institution from 2007 to 2009.

Afterwards, Michelle attended the University of Strasbourg from 2011 to 2014, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry. During their time at the University of Strasbourg, they conducted research in the field of Chemistry.

In addition to their formal degrees, Michelle also obtained several certifications. Michelle completed the "GMP Basic Training Pharma" at the European Compliance Academy (ECA) - Concept Heilderberg in November 2015. In August 2015, they obtained the "Basic Certificate in Project Management" from the PM German Association for Project Management. Michelle also completed the "Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials" and "Drug Discovery, Development & Commercialization" courses and obtained their respective certificates from Coursera Verified Certificates in April 2015 and December 2014.

More recently, Michelle has pursued further education in the field of business and entrepreneurship. In 2013, they completed a course titled "Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship" at Duke University. Michelle also participated in courses such as "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The 1st Step in Entrepreneurship" at the University of Maryland Global Campus, and "Leading Strategic Innovation in Organizations" at Vanderbilt University, both in 2013.
