Qing Li

Director, Team Lead US Biostats And Programming at MorphoSys

Qing Li has a diverse work experience in various roles within the biostatistics and programming field. They started their career as a Research Assistant at the Department of Biostatistics, University of Iowa, where they managed and analyzed large real-world data and developed models for comparing hospital readmission rates. They then worked as an Intern Statistician at Celgene, supporting Phase 3 oncology clinical trials and providing statistical guidance. Qing Li then joined Takeda as a Senior Statistician, leading oncology development projects and serving as a study lead for various trials. They also took on the role of Program Lead, overseeing the Mezagitamab oncology development. At Takeda, they also coordinated the summer intern program. Currently, Qing Li is at MorphoSys as the Associate Director, US partner lead of BDM. They have recently become the Director, Team Lead US Biostats and Programming.

Qing Li earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from East China University of Science and Technology from 2009 to 2013. Following this, Li obtained a Master's Degree in Biostatistics from the University of Iowa, studying between 2013 and 2015. Continuing to pursue further education, Li then completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biostatistics from the University of Iowa, starting in 2015 and finishing in 2018.
