Simone Prandi

Simone Prandi has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Simone is currently employed at MorphoSys as a Senior Manager of QA Compliance and Quality Systems since May 2022. Prior to this, from July 2021 to April 2022, they worked as a Manager CSV Expert at the same company.

Before joining MorphoSys, Simone worked at PQE Group where they held various positions from December 2016 to May 2021. Their roles at PQE Group included Senior CSV and Data Integrity Consultant from December 2020 to May 2021, Senior CSV and Data Integrity Consultant from October 2017 to November 2020, and CSV and Data Integrity Consultant from December 2016 to October 2017.

Simone also has experience working at the German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke, where they served as a PhD Student and Researcher. Simone worked on a project focused on the expression and function of bitter taste receptor genes. During their time there, they utilized various techniques such as histology, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and molecular biology to profile the expression of bitter taste receptor genes and study their functions in human intestinal cells. Their tenure at the institute lasted from 2010 to 2015.

Additionally, Simone has previous experience at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Simone served as a Guest Scientist in 2009-2010, a Research Fellow in 2008-2009, and completed their Master's degree from 2006 to 2008.

Simone Prandi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, between the years 2002 and 2005. Simone then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution, from 2005 to 2008. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Potsdam, where they completed their PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Molecular Cell Physiology from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Simone Prandi obtained several certifications. In 2009, they completed an Intensive General English Course at Language Specialist International - British Council. Simone also obtained a TOEFL iBT certification from The TOEFL® test in November 2009. In March 2011, they acquired the FELASA B (EU) certification from the Society of Laboratory Animal Science. In January 2017, they obtained the Esame di Stato per l'esercizio della professione di Biologo certification from Ordine Nazionale dei Biologi. Most recently, in June 2021, they completed the Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making certification and the Quality Management Foundations certification, both from LinkedIn.
