Ben Helde

Ben Helde currently serves as a Greenhouse Assistant at Morris Arboretum & Gardens of the University of Pennsylvania, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Ben gained practical horticultural experience as a Professional Horticulture Student at Longwood Gardens from August 2021 to July 2023, and as a Crew Member at Ravenna Gardens briefly in 2021. Prior to these roles, Ben worked as a Design Drafter at Shapiro Ryan Design. Academic pursuits include a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture at Temple University, with studies expected to conclude in May 2025, as well as earlier education at Edmonds College and Shorewood High School, which was completed in June 2021.
