Heather Wilton is an experienced Fisheries Biologist currently employed at Morrison Hershfield since June 2019. Previous roles include Project Biologist at Ontario Streams from January 2017 to June 2019, where responsibilities involved developing and implementing restoration plans for aquatic systems. Heather also served as a Natural Heritage Assistant at Credit Valley Conservation, focusing on wildlife passage monitoring and rehabilitation projects. Additional experience includes an Aquatic Ecology Internship at Royal Botanical Gardens, an Aquatic Monitoring Technician role at Conservation Halton, and a Landscape Technician position at Rembrandt Landscaping. Heather began a career in environmental education as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University and gained experience with the Toronto District School Board and the Region of Peel. Heather holds a Bachelor of Environment in Environment and Resource Studies from the University of Waterloo, completed in 2013.
