Asher I. Labendz

Asher is a partner in the New York office of Morrison Mahoney. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation and represents carriers, third party administrators and self-insureds before the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board throughout New York State. His extensive experience includes counseling and defending clients in a variety of Workers’ Compensation matters, including coverage, liability, and willful misrepresentation. He draws on this knowledge to advise clients on a wide range of complex matters as well as to coordinate effective and innovative litigation strategies to help clients achieve desired results.

Prior to entering private legal practice, he served as a Court Representative for the Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services, and additionally served as a Legislative Aide for the City of New York.
