Adriana Navarro-Suárez, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. Adriana is currently working as a Research & Development Manager at Morrow Batteries since November 2021. Prior to this, they were a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at Imperial College London from August 2019 to August 2021. Adriana also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Chalmers University of Technology from July 2017 to July 2019. Adriana started their professional journey as a Doctoral Researcher at CIC Energigune in October 2013, and also had a research internship at the same company from February 2013 to September 2013. Adriana gained international experience as a Visiting PHD Student at Drexel University from February 2016 to August 2016 and as a Visiting Research Scientist at Kemijski Inštitut - National Institute of Chemistry from June 2012 to August 2012. Adriana began their research career with a research internship at Universidad Nacional de Colombia from June 2010 to June 2011.

Adriana Navarro-Suárez, Ph.D. has an extensive educational background with a focus on materials science and technology. Adriana obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2011.

Following their bachelor's degree, Adriana pursued multiple Master of Science (MSc) degrees in the field of Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion. Adriana attended Aix-Marseille University, Universidad de Córdoba, Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens), and Warsaw University of Technology from 2011 to 2013.

Adriana's educational journey culminated in obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science and Technology from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea between 2013 and 2016.

Additionally, Adriana has sought further education and professional development through various certifications. Adriana completed courses such as “Predictive Modeling and Text Mining,” “Building Your Team,” “Correlation and Regression,” “Design of Experiments,” “Leadership Foundations,” “Decision Making with Data,” “Exploratory Data Analysis,” “Quality Methods,” and “Statistical Thinking and Problem Solving,” all through SAS. Adriana also obtained a certification in "SynchrotronsX: Synchrotrons and X-Ray Free Electron Lasers" from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2018. Additionally, they attended courses like "Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science" and "6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" through MITx on edX in 2017.
