Research Scientist at Morrow Batteries

Satish Kumar Mylavarapu has a diverse work experience in the field of battery research and development. Satish Kumar is currently working as a Research Scientist at Morrow Batteries since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Research & Development Engineer at imo-imomec from January 2022 to January 2023, where they contributed to the development of Co-free lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. Satish Kumar also served as a Doctoral Student at Hasselt University from November 2017 to January 2022, focusing on the synthesis and surface modification of cathodes to improve the rate capability of lithium-ion batteries. Before that, they held positions as a Research Assistant and Junior Research Fellow at Central Electrochemical Research Institute (cecri) from June 2017 to September 2017 and from September 2015 to May 2017, respectively.

Satish Kumar Mylavarapu completed their education in the field of Chemistry. Satish Kumar began their academic journey in 2010 at Andhra Loyola College (Krishna University), where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2013, they went on to attend Andhra University for their Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry from 2013 to 2015. Seeking further specialization, Satish enrolled at UHasselt in 2017 to pursue a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree in Chemistry. Satish Kumar is expected to complete their doctoral program in 2022.
