Joe Raser

Computer Engineer at MORSE

Joe Raser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joe started their career as a Wildland Firefighter Squad Leader in Mendocino National Forest, where they led a team of firefighters in responding to emergency fire situations. Joe then joined the US Army as an Airborne Forward Observer, conducting combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and managing various indirect fire assets. After leaving the military, Joe worked as a Product Manager at Polin8, where they developed mobile applications for children that gained popularity in the iTunes Store. Joe then served as an Independent Software Consultant at Cambridge Health Alliance, providing software consulting services. Joe's next role was as a Software Engineer II at Draper Laboratory, where they were responsible for developing the algorithm and user interface for the Parachute Navigation System used by the US Army Airborne and Special Forces. Currently, Joe is working as a Computer Engineer at MORSE Corp.

Joe Raser has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Joe also holds a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University, earned between 2012 and 2015.
