Orin Hall

Chief Engineer at MORSE

Orin Hall has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles.

From 2019 to the present, Orin has been working at MORSE Corp, initially as an Aerospace Engineer and currently as the Chief Engineer.

Prior to that, from 2011 to 2019, Orin worked at GE Aviation, where they held several roles including Lead Engineer, Component Design Engineer, and Mechanical Design Engineer in the Edison Engineering Development Program. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, Orin was responsible for designing advanced military engine combustors, generating program proposals, implementing fuel nozzle life extension programs, and introducing advanced manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve cycle time.

In 2010, Orin briefly worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Teradyne Inc.

Starting in 2009, Orin began their career as a Process Engineer Co-Op at Teradyne Inc. Orin also served as a Teaching Assistant for the Engineering Mechanics II (ME302) course at Boston University, where they planned and taught course recitation classes, assisted with grading and exam problem generation, and provided one-on-one assistance to students.

Orin Hall completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Concentration from Boston University in the years 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aerospace Engineering, specializing in Propulsion and Combustion (PC), from the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting in 2013 and graduating in 2016. Additionally, in February 2011, they obtained a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) certification from Dassault Systemes.
