André J.G. Pötgens has extensive work experience in scientific research and development. André J.G. is currently employed as a Senior Research Associate at Mosa Meat, where they focus on improving cultured meat procedures and 3D tissue culture. Prior to this, they worked as a Receptionist at Zuyderland for a brief period in 2020. From 2016 to 2019, they served as a Senior Scientist and Team Leader at Syntab Therapeutics GmbH, conducting research on peptide-based synthetic antibodies targeting cancer cells. André J.G. also worked as a Supervisor of Internships at Zuyd Hogeschool from 2017 to 2018 and as an Interim Lecturer at the same institution in 2015. Before that, they held the position of Senior Scientist preclinical drug development at Syntab Therapeutics/University Hospital RWTH Aachen, where they optimized and expanded the catalog of peptide-based synthetic antibodies targeting cancer. André J.G. also worked as a Product Development Manager at MagnaMedics Diagnostics BV and as an Interim Lecturer at Zuyd Hogeschool. André J.G. Pötgens obtained their Master's degree in Biology and subsequently completed their PhD in Medical Sciences at Radboud University. Their educational focus during this period included Molecular and Cellular Biology, Pathology, Genetics, and Toxicology. Later, in 1998-1999, they pursued further studies at Leiden University, specializing in Biology teaching.
