Esra Altuntaş

Esra Altuntaş has over 17 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Esra is currently the Head of Media and Analytical Development at Mosa Meat since July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Team Leader in Media Development at Mosa Meat from September 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining Mosa Meat, Esra worked at Lonza from July 2019 to August 2021 as a Project Lead and from December 2018 to January 2020 as a Team Leader. Esra also has experience as a Senior Scientist at DBSL B.V. from November 2017 to November 2018 and as a Scientist at DSM from April 2015 to November 2017.

Esra's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aix-Marseille Université from November 2013 to December 2014. At the University of Jena, they served as a Research & Teaching Assistant from December 2008 to September 2013. Esra also worked as an R&D Manager at Bostik for a brief period in 2008.

Esra then pursued a Master of Science degree in Polymer Chemistry at Boğaziçi University, completing their studies from 2005 to 2008. Continuing their academic journey, Esra obtained their PhD in Organic and Macromolecular Chemistry from Friedrich Schiller University Jena, completing their doctoral studies from 2009 to 2013.
