Ben Bagdikian Fellow at Mother Jones

Daniel Costa-Roberts is a versatile journalist and researcher with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Politics from New York University, complemented by a minor in Computer Science and Mathematics. Since April 2018, Daniel has been serving as the Ben Bagdikian Fellow at Mother Jones, while also maintaining a freelance journalism career since June 2016. Previous roles include a freelance researcher for the American Journalism Historians Association, where Daniel contributed to the Women's Suffrage and the Media database, and a member of the Election Verification Web-Scraping Team for The Associated Press during the 2016 election. Additional experience encompasses freelancing for PBS NewsHour, an internship at the New York Times Syndicate, co-founding a statistical consulting company, and working as a research assistant at Stanford University.
