Katie Kerns

Katie Kerns has a robust background in community advocacy and public relations, with notable experience at All Children's Hospital as Co-Chair and Council Member of the Family Advisory Council since October 2010, where the focus is on enhancing family-medical staff relations. Additionally, since January 2009, Kerns has served as President of the Greater Florida Chapter of Families of SMA, a non-profit dedicated to promoting awareness and funding research for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Previous roles include a public relations internship at Tampa Bay & Company in 2004. Kerns holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications/Public Relations from the University of South Florida, completed in 2004.
