Darrell Cook

Darrell Cook has a wealth of work experience in various positions within the manufacturing and supply chain industry. Darrell began their career in 1983 as an Apprentice Fitter and Turner at (STC) Standard Telephones and Cables. Darrell then moved on to Pirelli Cables in 2000, where they held roles such as Maintenance Stores Controller, Materials Controller, and Despatch Manager. In 2006, they joined Prysmian Group as a Purchasing Manager and later became the Purchasing Director, HV Systems Business Director, and Utilities Business Director. In 2019, Cook worked as the Regional Commercial Manager Europe/ROW for BASEC - British Approvals Service for Cables before joining SMR Automotive Global as the UK Purchasing Director. Currently, Cook holds the position of UK Supply Chain Director at Motherson Group, starting in 2020.

Darrell Cook has studied at the Newport College of Further & Higher Education, where they obtained a BTEC degree in Mechanical Engineering. Darrell has also completed an Advanced Leadership Programme at SDA Bocconi and a Professional Certificate in Management at The Open University.
