Javier Orós

Javier Orós has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Javier began their career in 1999 as an Engineer at EDDYSTONE RADIO LIMITED. Javier then worked as a Design Engineer at Philips from 2000 to 2001 and later joined Tait Communications as a Design Engineer from 2001 to 2003. Javier then transitioned to DivasTech, where they served as a Team Leader from 2003 to 2007.

In 2007, Orós joined Lear Corporation and held various roles, starting as a Project Leader from 2007 to 2008. Javier then became a Program Manager, handling projects for notable automotive companies like Renault, Nissan, Volvo, and JLR, from 2008 to 2012. Following this, they took on a pivotal role as a Platform Manager- Business Unit (Body Electronics, Infotainment & Electrification) from 2012 to 2018, leading a team responsible for business growth and program execution globally.

In 2018, Orós joined Motherson Group as the Director of Program Management and Engineering in Mexico, where they had overall responsibility for the company's program management and engineering, specifically for global programs related to exterior and interior systems.

Later, they assumed the role of Regional Director of Program Management and Engineering in the LATAM region at Motherson Group from 2019 to 2021. In this position, they oversaw regional directors and senior managers, ensured programs were executed efficiently, met timing and cost requirements, and ensured flawless program launches.

Currently, Orós holds the position of Deputy General Manager at Motherson Group since early 2021. As the Director of Program Management, Sales, and Product Engineering (Americas), they lead sales, program management, and product engineering activities for the Americas region.

Javier Orós holds a Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Universitat Ramon Llull, which they obtained between 1998-2000. Javier also has a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the same university, earned from 1995-1998. Additionally, they completed a program on Developing Leadership Competences at IESE Business School in 2015.
