Sean Taylor

Sean Taylor's work experience includes serving as the Chief Scientist at Motif Analytics since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Science Manager at Lyft from May 2019 to February 2022. From April 2017 to May 2019, they held the position of Research Scientist Manager at Facebook and also worked as a Research Scientist from November 2013 to May 2019. Sean worked as a Doctoral Candidate at NYU Stern School of Business from September 2008 to April 2014. Sean Taylor was a Data Science Intern at Facebook from June 2012 to December 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at Matrix Group International from September 2006 to July 2008 and as a Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board from July 2004 to August 2006.

Sean Taylor earned a High School Diploma from William Penn Charter School in 2000. Sean then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems, Finance, Economics, and Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Non-Degree program in Mathematics and Computer Science at The George Washington University from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they completed their education with a PhD in Information Systems from NYU Stern School of Business from 2008 to 2012.
