Janet Collins has had an extensive career in regulatory, governmental, and industry affairs. Janet currently works at Motif FoodWorks, where they started in April 2019 as the Senior Vice President of Regulatory, Government, and Industry Affairs. Janet later took on the roles of Head of Regulatory, Governmental, and Industrial Affairs. Janet has also been self-employed as a Consultant since January 2019. Previously, they worked at EAS Consulting Group as an Independent Consultant, specializing in human health science, nutrition, and food regulation. From 2015 to 2018, Janet was the Executive Vice President of Science and Regulatory Affairs at CropLife America, leading strategic planning and program development. Before that, they were the Director of Corporate Regulatory Affairs at DuPont from 2005 to 2014 and the Director of Global Advocacy and International Organizations at Monsanto Company from 1997 to 2005. Janet has a strong background in global communications, advocacy, and leadership, and has demonstrated expertise in cross-cultural approaches and collaboration.

Janet Collins has a Ph.D. in Animal Sciences from the University of Wyoming College of Agriculture. Janet also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Experimental Foods and Nutrition from the University of Georgia, which they obtained between 1975 and 1976. Additionally, Janet earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Experimental Foods and Nutrition from the University of Georgia between 1969 and 1972. Janet is also a Certified Food Scientist (CFS) obtained from the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) in April 2013 and a Registered Dietician (RD) obtained from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in July 1976.
