Oliver Risse is an experienced investment professional specializing in venture capitalism within the maritime, logistics, and cleantech sectors. Currently serving as an Investment Partner at HHLA Next since July 2022, Risse also holds positions as a Limited Partner Board Member at both theDOCK and Motion Ventures, focusing on innovative startups in the Maritime and Supply Chain industries. In addition, Risse is the Board Member and Lead Investment Partner at FERNRIDE, which is dedicated to autonomous e-truck solutions. Risse has a robust entrepreneurial background, having co-founded Greenlots and e-floater, as well as serving as Chief Operating Officer at Asia Cleantech Capital. Risse’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and a degree in Environmental Planning from Environmental Campus Birkenfeld.
